  • Day written: 9/11 days I skipped two days this week. I have no excuses, except that both days I was drawn into some really good books....

  • words:12,373 / 40,000 I had hoped to get another 1,000 or so words in, but this is almost 10,000 words this week. I should have a great week ahead of me as my daughter has camp every afternoon for two hours, which means there's no time for me to get home and back. I just take my computer to the library or a coffee shop and settle in for an almost two hour session. It's perfect!

  • snacks: Oreos, M&Ms, I went and bought more Oreos and M&Ms. I'm not proud of this, but it is what it is. However, I haven't bought any treats for this week. Fingers crossed this lasts!

  • cleaning: normal I cleaned my house throughout the week. The kitchen one day, the living room another day, bathrooms on another day, and so on. The only room I've avoided cleaning is my office, which probably needs it the most. Anyone else do this? I like my office clean, but I feel guilty being in here and not using my time to write.

  • baked: pizza dough Not as much stressed out baking this week. Just some pizza dough. I'm getting my sourdough ready for cinnamon rolls this weekend!

  • running: 0 So I made the choice to stop running. It's causing me too much pain and I feel like I need to get stronger first. So this week I start doing MBF from Beachbody again. I really enjoyed it and I feel like the weight lifting helps me. Plus it takes me less time. I'll be ready for some running soon, though.

How'd I do on last week's goals? Meh...

  • get in 10,000 words

    • I wrote close to 9,000

  • running mileage total of 9 mi

  • less of the procrasti-baking and stress eating

    • pretty good on the baking front, but the same on the stress eating

Goals for next week

  • work out 6 days--stretch 1 day (yes this is 7 days, but I'm following a 3-week program)

  • Get in another 10,000 words
